The luxury Cava Mother’s Day gift itself includes a bottle of NV Brut Cava from Codorniu and two engraved flutes, all of which are presented in silk-lined red box. As you’d therefore expect, this gift set is a lovely birthday present for Cava lovers everywhere.

The engraved flutes have fine rims, thin stems and a classic shape designed to really enhance the flavour of your Cava. What’s more, the flutes can be personalised to include any name and a message, which are then engraved into the 24% lead crystal. The message itself can be as heartfelt or jovial as you like.

As for the Cava, it comes from the respected producer, Codorniu, and consists of three traditional and indigenous grape varieties – Parellada, Xarel-Lo and Macabeo. First blended together in 1872, the traditional method uses bottle fermentation, with the wine aging on the “lees” for at least nine months. The result is a fresh, fruity flavour balanced with a dry finish.
