About the Cleek Club Head:
The dictionary definition of the word “cleek” is an iron-headed golf club with a very narrow face and little loft similar to a 1-iron today. However, a cleek-maker and cleek mark were also terms used to describe the maker of the iron club heads and the pictorial insignia used to mark the clubhead. Traditionally, cleek-makers produced just the heads of the clubs while club-makers were the ones who finished the club by adding the shaft and otherfinishing touches.
