Headlines are taken from the Daily Mirror as it provides the best insight into periods past, though broad journalistic content, photographs (which many other titles 40, 50 years ago lacked), advertisements etc. Established in 1903 and Britain’s best selling post war paper up to the 1970s. All reprints are accurately reproduced at full size and printed on high quality paper.

Nice frame - shame about the content! I sent off for this as a gift for my son - birthdate 1989 and was hoping to receive a front page of general news stories of the day. In this case, however, to my disappointment, the front page consisted of a story of a young person dying of an alcohol overdose. Why on earth would I want to give my son a framed news story about someone dying of an alcohol binge?!!!! Surely to goodness the paper content is reviewed before they go out? Thoroughly disappointed and don't know now whether I want to give to my son or not. It's a shame because on all previous occasions I have been hugely impressed with Gone Digging, especially in the quality. 16 February 2013
