Queens Park Rangers Personalised Football Calendar

A Fabulous Gift Idea For QPR Fans!

In 1882, two local football teams merged together to form Queens Park Rangers FC. The club chose this name as most of their players came from the Queens Park area in North-West London. Although home games were first played at the Kensal Rise Athletic Ground, financial difficulties prevented the Rangers from settling in one place. The club played in almost twenty different stadiums up until Queens Park Rangers turned professional sixteen years later. No other league club has played in so many different grounds and as a result, support from QPR fans became even more crucial to the team's identity. A League Cup trophy and periods of top flight football have been two highlights for the Rangers' supporters and the club is now settled at Loftus Road.

Our Personalised Queens Park Rangers Calendars feature a fascinating selection of match reports on some of the best games in the club's history. Starting from the month of your choice, these A3 Calendars are a great gift idea for any fan of the Rangers and they will bring back wonderful memories from some fabulous performances.

Calendar Highlights

The Personalised Queens Park Rangers Calendars feature a variety of highlights from an exciting range of matches, beginning with a selection of ties from domestic cups. In 1914, Queens Park Rangers beat Birmingham City 1-2 in a fantastic third round FA Cup game. Rangers beat the same side in 1967 to reach the League Cup final at Wembley Stadium, where the club would face defending champions West Bromwich Albion. Rangers won the match 3-2 and became the first team from the Third Division to win the competition.

In 1972/1973, Queens Park Rangers enjoyed their first European campaign following a runners-up finish in the league. Rangers faced Brann Bergen in the first round of the UEFA Cup and a 0-7 thrashing away followed a convincing 4-0 result in the home leg. Queens Park Rangers grew in confidence and eventually made the quarter-finals due to a dominant performance over FC Cologne. The club went on to lose in penalties to AEK Athens, but by this stage, Dave Sexton's men had already impressed the football world. The A3 Calendar incorporates another impressive continental clash from 1984, as Queens Park Rangers fired six goals past Partizan Belgrade.

In addition to cup competitions, the Calendar Gift also includes several league fixtures. In 1973, Queens Park Rangers beat Sheffield Wednesday 8-2 in a thrilling match at Loftus Road. Three years later, Rangers defeated Arsenal 2-1 in one of the best seasons of the club's history. In 2004, Rangers were promoted to Division One following a 1-3 victory against Sheffield Wednesday on the final day of the campaign.
